Who can issue a DHA sick-leave certificate

DHA's Issue Sick Leave Certificate service is for licensed physicians and dentists issuing a certificate for a patient, with supporting diagnosis documents. The professional must have an active full-time or part-time licence and the facility must also be active. The professional's Emirates ID cannot be the patient's Emirates ID. It is therefore not a self-certification form for a patient or for a doctor issuing their own sick leave. Contact the treating facility for its certificate process.

Verify a DHA professional licence or registration

Use DHA's public Verify Professional License/Registration Status service. Enter either the professional's DHA Unique ID or licence number in one field. The result distinguishes registered positions, active licences and cancelled licences, with facility and licence-status details. A registration entry alone should not be read as proof of an active practising licence. DHA directs licence-history verification before 2019 and further verification enquiries to gsc@dha.gov.ae. The chatbot cannot independently certify a named person's current status without that live registry result.

iPROMeS complaints versus HICAL reports

DHA's ISAHD site identifies iPROMeS as Insurance Partner Relation Management e System. It accepts individuals' health-insurance feedback, complaints and suggestions for Dubai service providers and regulators. HICAL means Health Insurance Compliance and Audit Log and is the separate route for reporting suspected insurance-provider fraud, waste or abuse. Use the current links on the official ISAHD services page, which separates tickets by date. These channels do not establish that a disputed treatment must be covered or promise a successful claim.

For a medical complaint about a healthcare professional or facility, DHA's Sheryan FAQ links to its official complaints portal. The listed mc.dha.gov.ae address currently redirects to complaints.dha.gov.ae. Use that official channel; the chatbot cannot determine medical negligence or promise compensation.
